This is a rare chair, it is the original and most collectable model, the Bridgewater, the inside back left leg is stamped 12332 9522 which is the order number and Howard & Son’s LTD Berners St, the castors are all stamped Howard & Son’s London. Upholstery wise, as mentioned this is Kilim upholstered which is the most famous and expensive type of English country house upholstery, it is actually a rug which has been skillfully adapted to use as upholstery, you will never see this type of armchair again with this finish as simply put, its the only one!
