Ormolu mounted two-drawer Bombé chest of drawers with mottled green marble top and satin bois, kingwood and amaranth in the French Louis XV style. The front and sides arched with floral marquetry and floral ormolu handles with decorative elements. Circa: Paris, first half of the 20th century.
It is a comfortable serpentine bombe with marquetry of exotic woods and tulipwood mounted on Louis XV style ormolu. The green marble top sits above two crossbar-less drawers inlaid with floral bouquets and an apron with a pierced ormolu mount. The whole is raised on cabriole legs headed by openwork ormolu ramps and finished with openwork ormolu clogs.
