Georg Jensen Antique Sterling Silver Pie Cake Server

A sterling silver cake or pie server in the “Lily of the Valley” pattern, designed by Georg Jensen himself in 1913. The mark is one of the oldest Jensen marks, but the company did not start using .925 sterling until 1927. As this piece is marked sterling, it postdates the use of the sterling standard.

Lily of the Valley is also known as “Rose.” It’s not a common pattern, and these servers are rather rare.
