Large 4 -piece office cabinet / former file cabinet / file cabinet with a total of 16 large drawers – ideal for magazines, grades and other papers.
The drawer fronts are provided with the original old mussel handles made of brass casting. The label frames are also original. The cabinet sides are elegantly solid.
The drawer floors have an open slot in the middle (see detailed photo) for the index card rails. If necessary, these can be closed with a cardboard insert or the insertion of plywood floors.
The cabinet consists of 4 individual elements that are screwed together, but can be disassembled for easy transport. 3 of the elements are met with “M&R Zocher Dresden”, unfortunately the label is missing from the 4th cupboard element – only the outline of the sign is visible here.
M&R Zocher was a large Dresden office trade house for office furniture, paper and and other office accessories, founded in 1880.
Made from oak, mahogany colored. Restored to live with the preservation of old -age charms and patina.
Surface z. T. newly stained, waxed and polished.
