Vintage Egg Chair Whisky Brown Leather in the style of Fritz Hansen

1 of 2 very fine, Vintage Fully Restored Fritz Hansen Style Egg Chairs in Whisky Brown Leather This sale is for one chair and I have the matching one listed under my other items, it is not included in this sale I have listed this as “Style” as the sticker to the top of the metal swivel base isn’t present, these do perish over time and it could have simply come off but in the interest of honesty, I am not listing this as original. I have an original stamped version which is exactly the same listed under my other items for £25,000, that is give or take 1-2cm a mirror of these chair The chair has been fully restored as mentioned, the original leather hide had faded back to the pre dyed colour, as such I sent them to my leather polisher who was trained by Ralph Lauren when they rolled out their “at home” division across Europe, Ralph taught him how to restore and colour old leather using traditional techniques. This piece has been washed back and hand dyed six times, antique shaded then sealed, waxed down and polished again, it is now basically in perfect better than retail condition The metal base frame has of course the original patination, it looks lovely and contrasts well with the brown leather colour You can’t buy this colour new, there are only 2-3 in the entire world that look like this, all of which were exclusive to me and my leather polishers Dimensions Height:- 105cm Width:- 87.5cm Depth:- 80cm Seat height:- 38.5cm
