1950s Ben Seibel Brassplate Mid-Century Clam Bookends for Jenfred Ware – a Pair

Classic mid-century brass-plate bookends designed by Ben Seibel for Jenfred Ware. Some minor loss of brass plating as shown in photos. One bookend rattles when shaken, as if there is a piece of loose metal in the hollow body, but I chose to leave the original felt bottoms intact rather than explore the cause of the sound.
Each bookend is 5 1/5″ tall x 5″ wide x 4″ deep
