Unique and very elegant Italian Art Deco Mid-Century dry bar cabinet cart, in walnut wood with black glass top, double front door and when opened having amazing interior part in mirror mosaic. The piece is highlighted by the original antique brass wheels and carved decorated legs. This piece is finished on all 4 sides, thus not needing to be wall attached but allowing for a free standing use. The Art Deco style, that preceded Hollywood Regency and thereafter Mid-Century Modern, is all about making a big statement and was considered very glamorous, elegant, functional, and modern. Softly shaped patterns and smooth angles with the generous use of gold, glass, mirror and a variety of expensive and exotic materials. In the style of Gugliemo Ulrich and Vittorio Dassi, that inspired the Italian Mid-Century Modern designers of that years such as Gio Ponti, Melchiorre Bega, Paolo Buffa and Luisa and Ico Parisi.
